Spindog, the name comes from my faithful fishing companion "Spinner". Black lab who always
fishes with me.

No mystery in my story. My main passions are guitars and fishing (not necessarily in that order). My alter-ego name was inspired by some of my significant-other's photographic sleight of hand. In my avatar pic she managed to capture a mirrored image of my Sage RPL reflected off a shiny humbucker pick-up on my Schecter axe. This pretty much conveys the essence of "guitarfisher".

But apparently it would, so now I'm stuck with it without a space. I find it hard to remember names and passwords, so I keep mine simple. Besides, it's nice when I'm out on the river and people yell across, what up nate! nate TREAT! And we realize we're friends but never met. And then I don't end up with nick names like "skinny" "nate dog" or "nasty nate" which ALWAYS happens. I don't mind, but it's hard to keep track of 'em.
Yo Nate, remember last year on the Green River I was like "Did you just call your dog Jack, as in Jack Bauer?". Next time I see you, its going to be NateNasty. haha
Yea, I remember. I miss that dog! Hahaha Natenasty it is. WE gotta get some coho soon.

Yes he has. No doubt due to those young ‘ns. Pretty sure he's got his hands full for a few years to come.

Mine started from the Geiko commercial where the Gecko is saying the offices have Biscuits and Gravy. Commercial always made me laugh.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

I have 5 kids. And when The first couple was younger I use to scare them down the hall. Well they are some fast lil kids so I would grab stuffed animals and toss at them. Usually was a stuffed pooh bear. So I started using flungpoohonyou as my nic on some of the gaming websites I belonged to. I felt flingingpooh was a lil better and kinda sounded like a fishing nic to me. I like it and it has some memories to me. Man them kids grow up fast too.
More fish please!

Agreed. I went through that the other day and some of the regulars who were here when WL.com first got their own forum (used to be tied in with Piscatorial Pursuits) are long gone...

Well the 111397 in my name is my bday. 11-13-97. Fish bait comes from all that i use to use when fishing, all i use to fish for was trout, soo i would only use bait. Now i mainly fish for salmon, only went for trout twice this season. And when i was younger, and a fish got off i would yell "FISH BAIT" now i say naughty words... :-" :-#

I used to run a fishing tournament on Lake St Clair every year specifically for Rock Bass. We would typically use small jigs for them, hence rockjiggr. I have used this moniker on many sites over the years.

I started out using "BassTracker" because of my boat but there were too many similar names so I went back to the name Mom & Dad gave me some 82 years ago.
A nice bass is too valuable a resource to enjoy catching only once.
