Yup, very stupid people. Wish they'd have thrown the book at them, What fines they did get wasn't enough.

Unbelievable they didn't even lose their license privileges! I've heard of much more potentially innocent mistakes landing people in hotter water than that in WA and ID. This is pretty brazen, and $6K split between the three of them seems extremely lax. IMO you need to hit a crooked "sportsman" where it really hurts, by telling them they don't get to play for a season (or more).

yeah, that was some plea deal they got. They issued a statement on their website that basically says "we consulted everyone but the game department and other proper offices and thought we were ok". It was like saying "regarding filming a driving video we asked joe blow down the street, a mechanic, AAA, and a couple driving enthusiasts but we neglected to ask any of the police departments or departments of transportation, etc so you shouldnt think of us as bad people cause we did our best"
