Guesses on snowmaggedon?

Post by Matt » Tue Feb 22, 2011 6:44 pm

What are your guesses for snow accumulation for tomorrow (on the west side/PS region). We have a dusting outside now and I am going to say we wake up to 6" here in the Arlington/Stanwood area. What are your guesses for the morning commute?

We got about 1/2" this afternoon. So over night maybe another inch and another inch tomorrow. Maybe another 1/2" ovenight Wed-Thur. So say about 2"-3" total on the ground by Thursday noon. :alien:

I was up in Monroe working (trying to, lol) and it was DUMPING snow around 10 this morning, but it dissipated and got all warm out and got pretty melty, I though they were gunna get hit hard up there but it ended up only being about half an inch.

Nothing yet in the Puyallup area,NOAA report states 1-2inches overnight and shows snowfall going through Thursday night.
I'm on a 24 starting tomorrow,so I expect to be busy....we shall see. I typically enjoy the snow but I'm so ready for spring now.

We only have about 1/4-1/2 inch. Barely anything. I think it will depend on where you are.

Update: We have a nice snow shower now...Past an inch and sticking on my road.7:11am

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

630am - just drove from Shoreline, around the north end of Lake Washington down to Bellevue/Eastgate. Nothing but wet roads. Parking lot sure is empty here at work though.. wimps..#-o

Of course I could be eating my words if we get dumped on before I can get back home again:-"

We ended up with a solid 3" and its still coming down here. Works is on a 2 hour delay so I am just biding my time at home now.

Just a very light dusting down here, looks more like soft hail than snow:cheers: Hopefully it will stay up there, A lot of people on the coast don't deal with snow very well!

Just grainy snow here overnight. Barely 1 layer, barley/almost covers the bottom of the dog's footprints on the porch.

You are not alone with that one CF - Unless when you say "coast" you really mean everything west of the cascades!

It ended up getting real warm later this morning and now it is just drizzling and melting everything off the roads. Work was canceled today though, hazzah.

If there were something locally with steel in it I would be hitting that, instead I am just doing stuff around the house.... sigh.

dumped snow yesterday morning when I left for a charter in lake Chelan Stevens pass was a PITA to get across @ 4-730 am got to Chlean nice and sunny while fishing, then the dreaded trip home last night wasn't as bad but still pretty bad as the ICE set in made road conditions worse. all in all 5 hrs to get there 4 and a half to get back. in federal way we had a nice flurry but it all melted and is gone now. I just hope it doesn't affect me flying out tomorrow to sit in 70 degree weather until Monday.
