My roof didn't like the wind and heavy rain last night I have a leak now. There is nothing obvious on the roof or in the attic. There is a coved area in the attic that I can't see into so assume that is where it is. I put a tarp over the roof so the leak has stopped for now. This is year 19 on a 20 year roof. I was planning on replacing it in the next couple years before I retire. Guess it will be a little sooner.
I live in West Seattle. Has anyone had good experience with any roofers in the area?
Thank you

Re: Leaking roof
My new roof was just finished yesterday. It was done by "Sound Roofing"
I guess I'm only on day 1, but I can attest to the professionalism of the workers, the sales guys, etc.
They knocked it out over about 3-4 days. They left my yard cleaner each day than when they started.

Re: Leaking roof
Leaks usually occur first at valleys and protrusions- chimneys, vent pipes etc. High winds can push water under shingles and into places that it normally wouldn't flow. It may not be a problem without the high wind. Looks like you got a good rec. Good luck!
Re: Leaking roof
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give sound roofing a call in the morning for an estimate.
I just checked the address. They are only about 4 miles from my house.
