Has anyone heard anything about the hoodsport hatchery yet? I was wondering if i should take the long drive down there to see if there is any fish

I know things get pretty nuts around Nov. for the chum. What else runs there?

There's kings that you'll hook into but not much of a run there gpc, seen some hooked while fishing for pinks there a couple years ago. If you're trying to go down to Hoodsport for pinks this year there isn't any Bluebullitt, not until next summer.

Chum fishing is about it this year, there will be a very small amount of kings there. When the chum are in the water will be boiling.

Fish haven't made that far down the hood canal yet anyways. The aug 1st opener for kings on the skok might have a slow start this year.

thanks guys, i know that pinks come every odd year, so if someone is trying for pinks......well they wont catch anything. but ya i was there last year when chums opened up. everyone and thier mom was catching fish.
