Always great fish to catch. Caught a few on the Skagit but mostly in Alaska on 5 wt. AK Dollies run up wards of 24" fun in the salt too near creek and river mouths.

I got skunked on the Wynoochee yesterday. I have never seen so many drift boats on that river as I saw yesterday. Every decent hole had a boat anchored on top of it, and I spent half my time paddling around them and the other half re-tying.

Woosh, it's rough out there with this cold snap, all the rivers up north are running low and fishless. I hope we get some good weather and another decent push of fish before it's on to chasing C&R wild fish.

Yea, you're down south, I wish I could get down there more often. I'm right in the dead zone for river fishing, anything worthwhile is an hour and a half away at least, or a ferry ride. Starting to get nostalgic for the cow, I miss those limit out fill your xcard up rivers.

I got me a limit of hatchery fish today. Got a 12.5lb winter run hen and a 7lb summer run buck. I would not have kept the small one but I promised my aunt a fish last week and didnt deliver. So I asked her and she wanted it so on the stringer it went.

went to the snoq at tokul today. the water is up and colored with sticks floating around everywhere. about 6 -12 inches of vis. Dude shows up halfway through the morning and starts running a plug on a side planer through the entire mouth, just camping out, like nobody else want to fish that water, because we couldn't. Irritating. He finally got the idea, I think someone may have said something. Saw three fish run up the creek in the morning and a couple rolling off the island. No dice.

I had to stop at my tribal offices today for some business. So I decided to bring my pole along and check out the snoqualmie around tokul. OMG is bout all I could say. River raised up crap floatin down river. Talked to a local and no fish to be seen there at all. So I said nah didnt even break the pole out. Just went up and took some video and pics of the falls and then back home I went.

Fished the Green in Auburn today. River was muddy. the lower river was super muddy. spent 3 hours fishing right off the shore near the grasses. Nada for me. It was nice though.
