The Vedder in Canada is an awesome salmon river for huge Chinook. I havent been up there for years. One more reason I need a passport. What a beautiful clean river.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Working up on the sky today was/is beautiful! Seems like spring has sprung early (yah right)..... I just wish it was still open to fish!!!!! Guess who joined me up at work today? Mr harbor seal! Some 20 some odd river miles from the snohomish confluence and about 50 miles from the salt..... yeaaaash! If he can fish why can't I ?

I miss fishing waist deep, windy, almost freezing weather
for salmon and steelies.
Thanks Jacob. You can have the wind [angry] , but the other elements I can deal.

What I don't get about hawg quest the show, is no matter where they are fishing, even here in WA, they pull every single native fish they land out for the camera for a while before releasing... Idk how they get away with broadcasting it.any one know?

Because like 99% of fishermen, they know it doesnt hurt the fish, and they dont care. And niether do game wardens when they see they are being gentle. The rule i would guess is up for idiots who drag fish through sand and rocks, and kick them back in. Although on this website it seems like its a big deal, practically 99% of people dont care. Thats why

Yup, it's over. It's just to be for the fish, that is what this thread is for.

Guess I'm a 1%er in two worlds then.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I'll leave that up to the members.

The issue in question not only is a matter of us displaying (or posting reports) of violations of the regs (and I understand this wasn't the case, now that it is labelled as to fishing location), it's also how the site is then perceived in the greater fishing community. We actually get bashed on other sites when this stuff comes up. Not that I care that much about web sites that allow bashing of other web sites (which is pretty lame IMO) because I know it's not true, but I'd rather not leave up stuff that could be perceived as true, if you know what I mean.

Back to fish pics please.

Not sure I'd put too much stock in the bashing from "The Other Sites", from my personal observations I feel that's the main objective there. Bashing darn near anyone and everything that isn't in their little click.

These 2 members are just out to make waves, this is like the third time this month they have been repremanded for being rude and just stirring the pot. I can tell you with no reservation who my least two favorite members of the forum are, but I will let y'all take a wild guess.

...comin in here trashing my favorite spot on the whole board with their garbage and nonsense. Get real!

And the comment about 99% Of fisherman not caring, do you make up that percentage of the fishing population? Because YOU are the 1%Er not the rest of us honest fisherman who RESPECT our resource.
