Kzoo it definately has been cold and wet but nothing cures it more then a smallmouth bite.

I'm less than a minute from the lauch, so it's too easy for me. But it is an awsome lake, and I feel fortunate to be so close.

Yeah I wish I was! I keep saying that I wish the Navy bases (I'm at Bangor) were where the Army base is. I'd be a hop skip and a jump from an awesome lake and some great rivers!

Both of those pics are dead giveaways. Not much reason to hide it. Cant wait till next weekend, water should be bumping low 50's and fish should be moving up.

They're definitely not secret areas, but I fish them. I tried fishing prespawn areas with no luck, I think it was the weather that turned them off. I bet there's a couple early birds already there.

Yeah, we were out from 8-5 and maybe fished 3 hours. Graphed about 1/2 the lake from 520 N. Warmest was NE corner at 49, majority 46-47. Had a unmarked scuba diver swim under the boat....scary to see the bubbles come under the boat all of a sudden just north of NOAA...picked him and his bubble trail on the HDS. Not the smartest idea to be diving unmarked...no flag/bouy/boat. Mark a spot, make a couple of casts, move on. Marked fish in 20-40 ft, just couldnt get the bite.

Im ready to get back out on Washington and Sammamish. Its only gonna get better. Especially with warmer temps. Hopefully the gameplan will work out as planned haha.

Yeah, fishing should pick up, need warm days to really get them in the prespawn. Sounds like they're migrating from their winter holes.

Surprised you didn't snag the scuba diver with a football head, I probably would have, at times I feel like I snagged everything in that lake.
