even smaller area: Crab Creek Wildlife Area, the lake sits in and out of it. LOL the next hint would have to be the first letter of the lake or the Gazetteer's lake number or something.

Looks like one of the earlier pictures went bye bye so I searched the net for another.... "I searched the world over, when I thought I found true love, you met another and, blpblp you was gone!" You're at least as old as I if you know where that came from.. LOL

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Thank God! LOL Thanks Gringo! This thread seems to have lost some of it's lustre compared to a few months back. You've got the baton back for your leg of the race Gringo....

Here is a hard one (I think).

Westside lake, east of Puget Sound. Known to hold (or have held) Muskie, Brown Trout, Rainbow, LM Bass, Rock Bass, Carp, and I think I remember seeing a report of somebody catching a sunfish out of there too.

Ice Skaters on Green Lake; 1906
Green Lake freezes rarely, but its shallow depth and still waters mean that it can freeze quite fast. Skaters flocked to the lake whenever it froze. In order to ensure safety, the Seattle Parks Department decreed that the ice had to be six inches thick before skating would be allowed. This only occurs during the coldest winters.
This photo shows skaters on Green Lake during the early years of the 20th century. It was probably taken in 1906, when park records indicate cold temperatures and an active "skater patrol."

I found it on the web, same pic. I was raised about a mile from Green Lake, us 8-10 year olds used to haul bread bags full of perch and the occaisional monster gold fish out of the old Aqua Theatre.

Post another Gringo, I'll pass!

I'll give it to you as you have the correct lake, being Washington. Meydenbauer Bay is a bit deep to wade in though, I was strolling the bar at the mouth of the Cedar.

Wasn't at all sure, just threw a guess out, it's the fun part about it to me, just keep guessing till the clues narrow the search. This one should be easy for salmon fishers and travelers alike:
well, not as easy with such a small picture.... nabbin them, pictures, off of the net seems to result in these smaller ones....
