Curado, couldn't reply your PM. Said something about you're not registered on the forum? I'll ask Mike Carey to see what's up.

I went 1/3. I lost a monster that broke a RVRFSHR jighead in half and lost another one that opened up on me. This one measured 28inches but was super small compared to the brutes that swam away both fish were over 14lbs. My heart hurts.

Thank you for the kind words, don't be scared. Trying new things can be frightening to many. You look like you work out and can bench press 225lbs? I suggest to not give up on drift fishing. Maybe lengthen your leader and go to a 2 oz cannoball? "Grip and Rip" as they say, it works for some. I can only lead you to water my friend, are you thirsty?

Nope

Fished today went 2/2, one being a springer and the other a nice bright summer run, sponsored by Jensen's Jigs.. Thanks for the hand tied jig dude!! You got em down. (cropped the jig due to pattern confidentiality)

Nice fish Brian.
It's not that confidential.
It's just jens's patent pending no tell 'um pattern
.
Remember? He mentions it all the time when he shows us all the fish he caught on the no tell 'um river.
Now we just gotta work on Brian to tell us

Uh-oh, jens is now converting perfectly good drift fishers into jig people? Lordee I hope there wasn't BAIT involved. That no tell 'um patent along with the special sauce may be worth some money:-k

You're quite the fisherman Brian ! :thumleft:

I went 2/2 Saturday the 16th. I released a small 5 pound chrome little egg wagon, bonked this 30inch chromer.
Super stoked for my boy Brian253 with his first Jig fish! It was just a matter of time brutha and that pattern is my play on the Nightmare
.. I hope you continue to expand your game and happy you are "drifting" away from that style of fishing =d> no pun wink wink
