all pinks today not one king :( fished behind safeway on main st by the bowl. Any suggestions on corkie and yarn iv'e seen Fluorescent green yarn and cork and today this guy next to me said the setup he's going with is half oz cannon ball black yarn and pink corkie with a 2ft leader im going to fish the 96th street bridge in the morning because im thinking that momma stortinis might be crowded because of the indians shutting down the lower river..any suggestions would be sufficient only 2nd year fishing salmon

Again ran down this am to the puke and within minutes it was fish on. Hooked and brought in close to 20 fish by the time I had to go with many more never making it into my net. I released fish after fish just hand picking the brightest and with sealice still on so I know they was fresh in the system. I kept 2 nice bright hens and 2 chrome bucks. I was fishing next to a real nice kid only 16. After a lil while I found out hes only landed 2 fish for the last few weeks of fishing. I asked him to watch what I do for one cast and explained to him what I was doing. A few casts later he had his first one one and in. I watched him get 2 more on the stringer before I left with my limit of hand picked fish. Im sure he got his limit too. Thats 4 people this week alone that Ive helped out fishing and results was positive. Makes me feel really good.
More fish please!
