WOW
~Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

The posts all start up with good intentions. Then the accusing starts. Some yoyo mentions flossing and it turns ugly. If I want a fish I'll use whatever means are possible as long as it is legal.I sometimes use a 6' leader in real clear low water. Dont like it? Tough. This goes back to everyone minding their own fishing business.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Good call Racfish, exactly what im talking about!

ANYWAYS PEOPLE me and my buddy have been fishing samish NONSTOP> I found a ridiculously good setion of river. Wanna know why my other holes wernt good? theres a HUGE logjam blocking off the river, and in low conditions, the fish are having trouble passing, they can, but dont seem to want to. Ive likely caught 50 chinook in the last 5 days, and here are the pics of some of the biggest and chromest fish we caught over th last 5 days. The biggest dark one below weighed in at 40.5 in a sling right before being released... hooked outside the mouth thank GOD. LOL and the others are all like 20-30 pounds. HUGE fish in this section, dont ask sorry its TOP SECRET STUFF. Lol i caught a 37 pound buck too, weighed it and released also, hooked in the front fin... with eggs. Theres so many fish i am snagging more than are biting just trying to reel my damn line out if the hole. ITS insane. Over 500 fish in a small drift. All stuck. And good egg biters too. anyway ill have pics every day until mid october now so enjoy... yeea

Caught about 20 fish in the samish today. People have worked over the holes in the area pretty good so i didnt get too many nicer fish, but the one on the ground was around 28 pounds and released, and the one im holding is about 25 and was a little dark, not bad but just a little color, but it was a buck and its flesh was RED RED RED. Great smoker. Come on rain, bring some chromers!

sorry, but everybody calling silvers "ho's" is weird to me, but its so popular that i thought i might join the party. Got back from canada 4 days ago with our Last trip, a silver trip, i thought this would be fitting.

He clearly is catching enough fish to qualify, at least more so than racfish (uh, and me):-"

Nice group of pics dicinu! Especially the finished product:chef:

Way to have a 'ho down on one of the local Puget Sound Suthuhn Rivuhs.

Samish again today. Didnt keep any, they were all so dark that i started tying my eggs a few inches above the hook, so that i could hook them on the outside of the lips and not have to keep anything. LOL heres some pics of the HAWG dark released fish. Big buck probably round 30

Check out the SNAG holes on some of the fish. I must have pulled 6 jigs off of fishes backs today, people be snagging and breakin off these big boys down by the mouth.

Again went to the puke and got many pinks including 2 firsts for me. A zombie pink missing flesh took my offering in the mouth. Surprised the crap of me. It was so ugly that I used my forceps for the realease. If I wasnt streaming music on my phone I would have taken a picture. And another pink over 10lbs. I swear if it was a lil bigger it would have made a run for a record. A true pinkzilla. The trip was well worth it with another Ho comming home. Im keeping my pimphand strong so far early in the silver run. Its gonna keep on gettin better. Im gonna have to break out the superfly hat and jacket.

I had probably one of my best days on the river last weekend. I went 6 for 10 using bobber and eggs and with eggs that I cured up a few days before fishing. I released 2 bruiser Nooks pushing the upper teen range and a couple buffed up jacks. I did bonk a bright Chrome hen about 12 pounds, the meat on that fish was incredible.

True story. I was cutting up some eggs when these 4 guys walked up to where I was fishing. The look of these guys screamed flossers. I rolled my eyes and was shaking my head when each one of them bombarded the hole with 1oz cannonballs and long leaders.

I caught one of the guys looking over to what I was doing and them whispered something in the line of, "He aint catching anything, why use bait?"

I shook my head and smirked after hearing them say, "Dude, I just rolled one. Oh bro, me too I just missed a bite."

Anyways, I just sat back admiring what they were doing while trying to ignore the sound of whipping mono. I had to cough out loud a couple times to let them know I was waiting to cast.

I cast my offering in the hole watching my bobber drift about 10 feet when it disappears. It went down right where I knew there would be a fish and right where these guys couldn't cast to. After fighting this beast and taking a quick pic I released the fish unharmed.

No words were spoken when I left but retrieving my chrome hen from the water was extremely satisfying when I heard one of them say, "Man, we should have used eggs."
