The biggest steelhead of my life, right here. Caught to day in the Vedder in CANADA, so i can hold it out of the water. 16 plus pound native.

Not the biggest but it broke 20" so I will throw it up here. Caught this one and a 19" on an hour trip to the river here IN Laramie

Yep it is a brown but I have no idea how it tasted because I let it swim away:cheers: It wasn't through the ice the bank of the river was still iced up however...

Here is my personal best steelhead to date, caught right across from the boat launch at Blue Creek side drifting my magic egg cure! Caught on a Light action 10 foot drift rod with 10 lb line and 8 lb leader, battled all the way from the launch down to the riffle below BC.

WOOHOO!

Thanks guys, it was a very happy day for me indeed. And I caught it on a brand new rod too!! First time out for the brand new rod and a PB steelie, its now a lucky rod, OBVIOUSLY hahaha.

It truly became lucky once I smeared borax and egg goo all over it.... so basically instantly out of the package. haha, thanks Quad.
