Chapter #57 and #59 on the front cover!

Post by KUP » Sat Oct 01, 2011 12:56 pm

One of the best benefits of belonging to Muskies, Inc. is getting the National Magazine, MUSKIE as well as the National Calendar.
Check out this month: October, 2011 to see Mike, Buddy and Matt.
Like it says on the cover of the calendar:
“Live Your Dream!
Chase a Muskie!
Make a Difference!”

… from the calendar editor:
“They may not grow as big as the “purebred” strains, but you have to admit that hybrid “Tiger” muskies are prettier. Center: Michael Floyd, NW TIGER PAC, with a 47” Tiger from Lake Tapps, WA. Clockwise, from top right; another Chapter #57 Tiger, a 44 incher caught and released by Chapter President Buddy Hartman. Dan Marking’s Deer Lake Tiger; a 42 inch fish with a 21 inch girth. And Matt Pelletier from the New Mexico Muskies, Inc. Chapter #59 and another pretty Tiger.”

Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:
Let them do their job: Eating N.P.Minnows

Thanks KUP!

I got a kick out of this when I got it earlier this year.

Although Matt and I do look somewhat alike. That's actually one of our big time Members, His name is Matt Fordice and the guy is a rockstar! He's been to darn near every single event we've had and he's volunteered time for EVERY single event we've asked our Members for help with! So I just wanted to make sure Matt Fordice got his dues. Nice Fish Fordice!!

Hey Guys,

Great M.I. Calendar Shot(s)!

It is good to see Washington State, New Mexico, and Wisconsin, being represented for the entire month of October! Fantastic fish gentlemen...Congrats, for the honor bestowed!

This picture is of Mike's fish that tied for "First-Place" last-year in the M.I. "Hybrid" Division... The division ended-up in a three-way tie for 2010 honors and it included a M.I. Trophy-Plaque... Mike, Chapter 57, and Ed, Chapter 60, claimed two of the top-spots!

We can only hope that Chris G., Chapter 60, does as well this year with his 50-incher! The year is not over yet...LOL:fish: Good luck to all!
>----):< A good gamefish is too valuable, to be caught only once.
