I pretty much only fish rivers within a hour and a half or so driving distance of bellingham. Nooksack, skagit, vedder, ect...
I do however make a trip or more a year over to the grande ronde

todays steelhead. Slow fishing, saw one other fish taken between 15 people, other than mine.

What happend to not keeping any more? I went steelheading 2 times myself the past month and a half or so. Ive not been able to get the spots I wanted at all. Well the trip the other night I did finally get in there and within a half an hour I went 2 for 4 landing a 12lb summer run followed up by a 5lb winter run. Both fish was hatchery and bucks. Nice way to break in my new addition to the arsenal. 10'6 lami certpro dave vetter ML action casting rod. They dont even make it any more. The rod is an awesome steelie rod.
