What kind of return does the Cascade River get for summer run steelhead?
Form the reports I have read it looks to be a chinook fishery from June thru July?
Can any of you guys who fish the Cascade frequently give me some insight please?

Re: Cascade River Steelhead
cascade gets some natives in july and august with early run winters in sept and oct. Float fishing eggs near shore have produced steelhead for the coho fisherman a couple years ago. Try fishing above the bridge for natives with a pink worm or kig under a float, I have hooked one before near our cabin.
Springers are available in june thru early july as well.

Thanks for the info, when you say above the bridge, are you talking about the one above the hatchery?

Yeah, cascade-rockport rd or something like that, there are tons of pull offs but they are all native fish though.
