Tried the Stilly today and fished midriver about 4 miles below fortson and suprisingly, a summer run show! went 4/7, landed all summers, but one of the fish we lost was fighting MUCH more actively than the summers, was small but active and bright so it must have been a winter, talked to a guy who was at fortson and he said the pressure from all the guys this week has made fishin in there really slow, the water is low so not much is moving and a lot of fish have been caught or soremouthed, the nets went in the lower this week to so thatll slow the winter runs wayyyyy down, hope we get a super high water to pull the nets and get another push, anyways, pics!

yea, too bad its fly fishing only until dec 1 or i could do some SERIOUS damage. Yea the stilly is suppose to have a good year, thats why they gave the natives their permits, so the good run is gonna be netted into a normal or smaller run, great job WDFW, get a good run and give the natives the extra fish so we get a crap run anyways like usual... wtf is wrong with people

Ya, exactly WTF. [cursing] Hello, wouldn't want the rivers to have too many fish..oh what a problem that would be. Good thing they can net them up so we don't have that problem. Nets do not belong in rivers!!!! Fish make it to the river they should be free from getting caught in nets that block off rivers! [cursing]
Sorry about that, just don't like nets in the river. Can you tell!

Fished the stilly and it was pretty slow, one fish before daylight and one fish at 430pm with two more lost. Some guy across the river was killing the fish though!! :-"

It was just really slow today bro, i know some little spots that people dont fish that usually produce a few fish in low water, but other than that it was crappy, last few days have been. I was using eggs all day too, if you did what you did today earlier in the week when the fish were in better you woulda caught um. 20 guys and only 4 hooked other than my 3, super slow. Need rain to push more winters in! If ur floatin egg ur doin it right, it was the fish today, not you
