4-8# they are very light. But they have alot of backbone

You troll out of a raft? That's the only boat I have right now. How do you have it set up, as in rod holders etc.?

For raft trolling just lay your rod out of the boat and out your tackle bag or box on the butt below the reel, or even hold it down with your feet. Or get some one to paddle you around, then you can just hold it.
