Ebey Slough depths

I have headed out to the sound via Ebey Slough in the past in a jet boat and I know at times it can be extremely shallow. I pan on heading out soon and was wonder if my prop boat would make it through, and at what level of tide would be safe to exit and return. Thanks in advance.

You go in or out on a 4' + no problem.. Lower than that you better know where the channel is....And that all depends on your boat ie outboard, size, long shaft ect....

I have rolled the whole thing in medium low tide and high in my smaller prop no problem.. in high tide there are sections that are 20+ft.. 1st few times i rolled slow with depth finder on.. no problem.. jet boat should be no problem at all.. watch out for the old wood pillers is all

Yeah, heard a guy in an inboard jet go roaring through there and heard a huge bang. Then no motor...... He didn't look too happy when we went to look.......

Your first run go SLOW! I would try to time it when you have a good 4-5 foot of tide water in there such as bassplayer said, those are his home waters and he runs it in a prop.

Plenty of water to go through just about anytime. Go slow and watch for pilings. I wouldn't worry too much, I've seen some really big boats going through and pretty low water. Take it easy and be safe.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I've been through before in a jet and pretty sure I know where the channel is, but I will be sure to go easy and watch the depth finder.
