Spoonman was nice enough to take me out on his day off, I figured his video deserved it's own thread. Thanks for taking me out!

Did you get a sled, or are you propping it? That stretch is a lot of fun, but there comes a point where the wind comes upstream, and the frog is so slow that you have to row and row to get to doug bar by dusk if you're not careful.

Right on. That water upstream on the sky gets pretty skinny, aand there are lots of dead heads just under the surface, so that will give you some obstacles, but it should be a good time. I'm going to be down that way again tomorrow, and it's been putting out fish a plenty!

WTF? Does it matter what brand if hotdog it is? Would it be alright if I used a kosher frank instead of a regular one?

We were using ball park. I don't think it matters, you can wind up with some pretty pricey hot dogs. I do know they don't like nathan's, or anything all beef. Only Chinook like jerky though.

Nathan's is for the BBQ exclusively. Fried chicken gizzards is strictly for coho though.

Yeah but if you want to hook anything really big, they demand a good bun and some mustard and relish. No ketchup, it's as bad as a banana!

Ketchup. And hot dogs should never be uttered in the same sentence. Ketchup is what you mix with mayonaise to make special sauce. Hot dogs demand mustard, kraut and onions. Now you made me think of ketchup on a hot dog. Eww.

I know right? Brats go in beer, dogs are grilled and the ketchup stays in the fridge.

I agree brats go in beer, good beer, but if we having cheap dogs cooked on a fire I will proudly, and childishly put ketchup on my dog. I await your scorn and ridicule [crying]

I guess I've been doing it wrong all these years. But then again I will put sweet baby rays bbq sauce on almost anything I eat.
Sweet baby rays is the stuff! [drool]
