Depending on when I think I would like to. My boat should be finished by then. But camping? Maybe a local motel?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I go more for the Apple Cup. The beds are much better and you don't have to walk through the campground to hit the shower. I have spent many weekends camped at the city park but I prefer the motel now.

The only sleeping your going to do at the "Apple Cup" is if passing out at the bar. Pretty sure next door is where the beds are. That would be called the "Apple Inn". There website claims to have the best prices. But if you want to keep them honest, check prices at "Mom's Montlake Motel. Which is one block South, then 1/2 block east of the Apple Inn (closer to lake Chelan). Mom's is not your average modern motel. It is the single file, single story set up. No kids stomping there feet above you? Fewer rooms and will fill up faster, little kitchenette's in each room.

It used to be all under one roof and old habits die hard. They do a good breakfast but I usually eat at the taco truck that parks at the laundry mat....

I would love to make it up there to meet all of you. Really enjoy this website with the reports and forums. I am in Moses Lake so no too far from Chelan. Awesome fishery last year and have high hopes it will be the same. Keep us all posted on the date and I look forward to meeting all who attend.

I'm gonna try to make it! Bonus if I can find a hotel/motel with an indoor pool for the wife and kid. Or maybe the bonus is actually to NOT find one and make it a solo weekend. :-$
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Our planned date for this get together is May 3-4, 2014. Rseas and I will be putting out the details in the coming months. Should be a fun weekend!

Most all the motel/hotel's have outside pools. Mom's Montlake - no pool; Apple inn - outside pool; Campbells - outside; Worldmark - outside; Lakeview- no pool; Riverwalk- no pool.

We have a bingo: The "Lakeside" has an indoor and outdoor pool.

Is it possible to have you consider a weekend change to the one before or the one after?

Sorry, I work every other weekend so that's the only choice (besides Easter, which wouldn't work)

I get to do the same but two weekends on then two weekends off. Most times I'd rather work weekends to miss the crowds but it's also nice to be able to see the Monday to Fridays for some interaction too. :)

I work every other weekend also. I looked and figured, it looks like I have it off. Unless boss changes schedule in January like she has mentioned.

Oh well maybe things will change or I will have to shoot for next time. Work always gets in the way but got to pay them bills.
