how to put a picture in a post

how do i get a picture into a post? i have a .jpg image sitting on the download bar on the screen. how do I get it in. Do I use one of the buttons above the text box, or drag it over or something else? i tried the first two already

sorry for being so lame but how do I attach it? it is now on my C drive. assume i know nothing. (which would be true)

1 - remember the name of the image,

2 - type message for the thread you want,

3 - before clicking to post your reply go below and to the right of the box where you typed your reply--there are the words/link 'upload attachment' click on it

4 - click 'browse'

5 - go to the folder where your image is - click on it

6 - find your image - double click on it, or click on it then click on 'open'

7 - click on 'add file'

8 - click on 'submit' and your done.

it's also not something you can do with "quick reply"... unless you click "full editor"..... hit "Post Reply"
