antique bamboo fishing rod with weird eyelets

Aparently the file is too big to upload the photo of it. Id like to know what it is/ what its worth. It has 1 eyelet at the end of the rod, and 2 eyelets; facing oposite from each other in the same spot on the rod and the only words I can read on it is "acme". Any info would be greatly appreciated.
