I know the initial reports have been slow but I'm an optimist! [-o<

Hit it hard this morning from 5 to noon. Nothing. Not even a bite. Talked to several others on the way in with the same story. One guy back at the launch said he had one takedown but nothing on the other end. Launched at gardner road and tried two spots up river using sand shrimp and spin n glows in several colors. Good luck out there. Hope to start seeing some better reports before the dang river closes.

I to hit it hard from 5 to 1 must have launched right after you fishindude. It looked more fishy with fish jumping and finning around. Had two good takedowns no hookups one took the sandshrimp. With the nets out its gotta get BETTER!!! Be back at it again in the morning....

I thought the nets stayed in constantly... at least that's what I heard on the river.

Man, this is getting kind of depressing. I keep on almost going, and then end up fishing Steel instead because all the reports come back so dismal. I was thinking of going this morning and didn't because I would have been dead tired. Then I figured, I'll rest, see how the guys do today, and maybe hit it Sunday.....perhaps it is time to throw my lot back in and just give it another shot. Definitely won't catch a fish of I'm not there...

Hows the fishing been? Still slow? Was out Thursday in the boat and not even a bite... WDFW knows the run wont really get going till the last couple days of this 2 week season THANKS WDFW! Anyways, I am gonna try to get out tomorrow afternoon and maybe Monday or Tuesday and I will for sure be out Thursday. Hope some fish start to show up.

Well fished from 5 to1 again today and yes it's still slow. No fish jumping no fish rolling and no fish biting. Yes fishndude I did see you leaving the launch as i rolled up. I to have a 14' gray flatbottom lowe boat. Got checked by the Skagit co. sheriff today first thing he asked for was my boater ed card that I gladly showed him. He said they checked 26 boats with no socks.. Were are they?????Going to head up tomorrow after work.. I'm getting good at teaching sandshrimp to swim.... Thanks to fellow wa lakes member Ken J for fishin with me good times buddy!!!! Might have to wait for the lake to get our socks...

With only 34 sockeye to the trap this season has been dismal to say the least. We have less than a week left and I have heard of 10 caught.

I fished about 2.5 hours last Friday. Skunk. Not a nibble. Might try it again later in the week before the closure.

6/26 42 78
6/27 30 108
6/28 36 144
6/29 33 177
6/30 26 203

I see a promising trend coming! Next week it will be 200, the week after that 500. The lake will be awesome!
