Banks Lake cabins?

Has anyone stayed in the cabins at Banks recently? We are going to try it this year the third week in May. I'm mainly wondering how good the air conditioners work and do the windows open?

We were there last June and it was hot!

They have three cabins in the section closest to the boat launch in Steamboat Rock Park.

Ok, that would be a state park, correct? Maybe call the State Parks people. I'd not heard of any cabins anywhere, but thought there might be some at the south end that were privately owned and rented out. Last I was there in '03 there were Yuts, or whatever they are, round tent things on platforms/decks for rent for the weekend at Coolie Playland.

I called the Banks number several times but never get a real person to answer. I'll try again.

Ya, they are probably out most of the day. The local state park at Lake Sammamish I was told to call at 8am or they might not be there - out doing duties.
