Nice thread. Sadly, I don't have any fish to put up for the winter season yet....although I've only been out twice. Brat Bonker, where do you pick up your WFO worms?

Re: Steelhead Pics & Reports 2015/2016
Several winter fish from the last 3 times out (Also pleasure to meet you today Jonb if you read this. Switched out to a Silver 2/5 ounce rvrfhsr spoon and got a big dolly over 20 inches too after you left. They were aggressive!).

Thanks bentrod! I'll have to give photo credit to the iPhone 6s which takes really great close up pics and it's way easier than a regular camera to get a few quick shots while having the fish in the water to get their colors. I also bring a backup camera just in case.

Re: Steelhead Pics & Reports 2015/2016
noob question here but im a noob. with the sky receeding from the flood and running and 9000 cfs right now and no rain till tomorrow afternoon do you guys think thats fishable? last saturday it was at about 3000 and perfect water conditions. decisions decisions.
thanks
thanks
Re: Steelhead Pics & Reports 2015/2016
Hey totem420, my 2 cents: If I waited till conditions were just right I wouldn't get on the river much. I've caught fish in the lowest conditions in this summer and very high conditions in the winter (higher than they will be tomorrow). I use each of these times out as a learning experience to see what works in these conditions, see what's working for any other anglers out there catching fish and chatting with them and switching to different colors if somethings not working every 30 minutes or so. If you can retain these details in the long run you'll catch fish no matter what conditions. Tomorrow will be fishable but expect a very packed River.
