please help-Douglas Bar on Snohomish River closed to vehicle access

DNR has made a poor decision to not allow driving on Douglas Bar which means no more boat launching and no more easy access to fish, hunt, swim and enjoy the water.

For those interested in reversing this decision, please call or email Hilary Franz, the commissioner or Public Lands. I have also spoken to Senator Kirk Pearson's office and put them in contact with the Zylstras.

Many people use this access including many retired people who do not have the option of walking long distances. This could also set a precedent of removing other access points on our rivers.

Please share with others and let Hilary know your feelings as she is an elected official. thank you
