I went up there for a little bit on opening day just to check things out, and I suppose some young guy bought it and opened up that area again. There is camping, the dock was rebuilt(poorly), The boat launch is free, but 5 dollars to park and 5 dollars for each dock fishing. Fishing was pretty good on opening day, not too sure now, but yeah it is pretty much back to the same ol same ol.

Is it common to charge for dock fishing? I've had to pay for parking before but this is the first i heard of paying to fish off a dock.

Fish lake over by Leavenworth charges $5 to fish from thier dock and it's usually packed, about 30 people. Nice dock with benches, rails built in pole holders.

Many resorts are that way! It is the price that happens when you let people who could possibly sue come on your property#-o
The insurance policy that has to be carried is huge:eye:

Fish Lakes dock is usually RED HOT. Think of it as chumming with power bait/ eggs

I came across this real estate listing the other day:

http://sea.themlsonline.com/details.sea ... s/27201319

It looks like they are selling off some of the land at the Silver Lake Resort as private campsites.
