West side crappie
A buddy of mine and I would like to find a good crappie lake. (no that's not an oxymoron). I live in the great tacoma area and like to fish smaller lakes. Any suggestions?

RE:West side crappie
Ive heard rumors about tanwax and ohop just waiting to get out there
RE:West side crappie
Ohop has been on fire for the past month or so. The spawn should be just about over now so I'd fish around deepest wood you can find along the north shore. They'll only be about two feet down from the surface. Sometimes they will be right at the surface feeding on the hatch if it's cloudy or close to dark.
They should still be spawning on Tanwax, Kapowsin, Hart, Rapjon, and Clear....maybe Whitman too.
