Call Avista. I believe they would be able to answer that.

Does anyone know if the DNR is closed down for the year?
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

Long won't drain until Avista needs the generation capacity and flow flexibility. That typically is somewhere between Christmas and Jan 30. It will stay down until flows drop under about 25-30k CFS. This is all up to Avista to decide, as they do not have a requirement for water to be up until Memorial day weekend, and they can stretch that out a little as well (we saw that this year).

The Spokane House launch is open year-round.

9 Mile is closed until Memorial day.

DNR has special rules as to their opening and closing. I do not know when it is available to launch.

I leave my sled in over the winter, and we spent a good deal of time fishing the edges of ice sheets over the winter. The far end produced trout up to 24", and I hooked up what felt like either an obese bass or a salmon, but it shook me off after getting up under the ice sheet.

Jared, give me a call today or tomorrow when you see this.
