Post by panfisher » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:35 pm

going through some of my ultralite gear (smaller than 2") to have ready this spring so i thought i'd show some of my collection. now i have to go through the ultralite spoons, spinners, jigs, flies, and the other stuff i'll need to catch at least one fish when i'm out on the water. than go through the bigger stuff later.

Panfish, that's quite a spread, you should keep em in a tackle box! he he.............Seriously, I'm jealous, I counted and that's just like,......... 20 times more than my measily cb selection. I'll pick a few up here and there and maybe one day, be able to make the right selection to yank henry from under the dock.

Jumpin' Jimminy crickets! that's a nice collection you got going there. I see many Crappie, Gills and Perch falling prey to them in the future. If I didn't suffer from a similar affliction, I might recomend therapy. Good luck with the upcoming season.:thumright

Panfisher...:thumleft: I am a tackle collector also and I'll ask you what my wife always asks me..."How many lures do you have and how many have caught fish?" LOL... She just doesn't understand...Hope your wife does! Very impressive collection. Hope you have a great time with them. I really enjoy fishing with my old stuff. I'm sure you do also.:thumright Have fun with the lures, Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

they all do catch fish. the trick is though:-$ you'll catch something with what ever you are using the more you use it. of course the more you use it the more likely you'll loose it.:-" thats my answer to the "WHY" question. you can't have to much of a good thing, except when you have to train like a "navy seal" just to carry it all:thumright
