Any jobs out there

Post by KCDEIFE » Sat Feb 07, 2009 12:20 pm

Damn I went to collge for the wrong thing fish and wildlife. I have 2 bachelor degrees and they are almost worthless. Anyone know of any jobs. I will move almost anywhere and do almost anything. I have lots of construction experience. I am starting to feel desperate because my wife is due in May and most of my saving is gone. Anyone know of anything send me an email.

Start selling organs and body parts. :cyclopsan I thought about becoming a professional sperm donor (fulltime), but my education level and family history is not good enough. Got the looks but not the background to sell swimmers. Something to think about. :safe:

No really, it's tough out there man. I feel for you and your family. Stay persistent like you are and it will pay off for you.

Are you good with computers?

Even though Microsoft recently announced a lay-off, there are still quite a few open positions for vendors & contractors.

If you are fluent in at least one object-oriented programming language, you can probably find a job. (Preferably C# or C++.)

SQL server, HTML, XML, and JavaScript are also in demand.

Sign up for the laborer or operator union in Seattle area. There's going to be some big construction jobs coming up this spring. I 405 improvements, I 5 repair, and we're rebuilding a new runway at Seatac Airport this spring.

Go on line with the Universities in Spokane. Sometimes they post positions in maintenance. They pay o.k., and one of the bennies in working for them is a full boat college education for everyone in your family.

Spokane Police was hiring, not sure if the application phase closed yet or not.

Spo Fire will be hiring in the spring. COMPETITIVE test but good job.

For police jobs, go to publicsafetytesting.com . This is where you can apply to test for several agencies at one time. My department hires using this service as do most in WA. You can also go to the WA criminal justice training center (CJTC) which is the WA State Police Academy located in Burien WA. They advertise lots of police, custody and other misc law enforcement jobs on their web site. I believe the Washington State Patrol is also hiring Troopers so you can check out job announcements at the WSP web site.
