Fishing is like sex,
when it's good, it's real good,
and when it's bad,
it's still pretty good.

That has got to be the ugliest trout I've ever seen. I'm jealous that it wasn't me! Trust me I'm not above catching ugly fish.

Hey fishinislife...
First off its MUSKYhunter...and no this doesn't apply for trout in my opinion...plenty..actually way too many trout so take as many as you want. Eat the ugly fish or stuff it I don't care...Sometimes I dont' understand catch and release trout. They are planted to catch and eat. Eat all of them. Especially the trips. The naturals are the ones to catch and release.. See ya!!

Wow !!!! Catching that monster would be almost as much fun as catching a 5 pound bass

I wonder how long it took to reel it in with 6 lb test. He must have been chasing it for over 3 hours. I've never seen a rainbow so fat. I'd love to reel in a rainbow like that. What a thrill.
The Pend Oreille record was beaten a few years ago below Libby Dam in Montana. Still, no were close to 43 lbs.

Still, I think there might be another one in the river below Libby Dam that might come close............In that river, they feed on land locked salmon coming through the turbines, what was the food sourse for the 43# monster?
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

That was a native trout, not a trip.
We need to work harder to keep the native trout in washington preserved.
