Gotta love work. Believe me, I'm VERY thankfull to have it. I have been blessed indeed. That said, work calls that weekend. BUT, I will try my best to get out there Friday the 19th. Is ANYONE going to be around??? Hey, I'd take you out so you can show me how to catch them trout. Found myself loving the Bass fishing WAY TOOOO MUCH. And lately, the Pike!!!! What a fight when you have a 15 pounder on the end of a medium action BAITCASTER!!!! I'm HOOKED!!!

Finished the bow mount trolling motor install today, just need to get the second battery and a circuit breaker and I'm ready for wireless action there.

Also, got my downriggers in and receptacles laid out, need some stainless hardware, a little wire and they'll be done. All in time for the planned outing. :bball:

Gonna "time trial" everything at Roosevelt this weekend.

That's the wire I was talking about, kinda hard to power them with the "other" kind (although mine do still have the factory installed stranded wire cable). :colors:

I've been talking with a fellow by the name of John Campbell. He is the owner of the Pend Oreille Valley Sportsman in Old Town Idaho. He has promised a bag of goodies for door prizes. I'm not sure what he has in mind but I think it will be a bunch of lures. Anyway, a great big thanks to John for his generosity. If during the weekend, you need anything, his shop is the place to go. NICE FOLKS

If anybody has walkie talkies, bring them. I think we'll be tuned to channel 5. I'll be leaving in 3 days. I've been watching the weather forecasts and they look good.
P.S. Bring firewood if you can.

No code. 0-5

We use radios all the time. It helps locate the fish for all and we share tactics. If one keys in on successful tactics, we call each other and pretty soon everyone is having fun :) They also are great for keeping in touch with kids that want to go for a walk in the woods or around the lake.
