Sea Bass in South Sound?
Wondering if people ever catch any sea bass down in areas 10-13? I only ever seem to get them up around the strait, but thats cause I have only ever targeted them up there. Wondering if I go out down in the south sound if it's worth going for them or not, or if they dont venture down that far in any big numbers.

over hear in area 6&7 they are rare. I have seen 3 caught in the last few years on my boat. I'd imagine there would be even less in area 10-13.

A buddy of mine caught a real nice one off double bluff a couple years ago in the kelp beds. Furthest one inland I've heard of in a long time...

But fishingboy have any of them been caught during the season?
I caught 2 before the season last year and then a bunch after it did on the pier... it just seems they dont' show up there until the season is done.
