There isn't a radius to the hull, but she looks to be a nice warped plane hull. Thats a nice setup, esp with that Yam 150 on the back, should be a reasonably fuel miserly salt boat that rides well and won't break the bank.

What's she weigh Swede?

Why don't they extend their brackets to the chines instead of cutting it off in the center like that? Its free hull length and free lift that companies like Hewescraft have capitalized on over the past 5 years of boat design progression.

Weight does matter when you are talking about towing the boat to your destination. Looks like she will be easy to tow.

Im fully aware of the bracket and what it does. The question was why they don't go chine to chine instead of only having a small area of planing surface directly in front of the motor. The bracket Hewes ( and every other aluminum boat manufacturer from Specmar on down) uses adds some extra beam to that bracket, making it a wider, more effective planing surface. It gives more reserve buoyancy, more lift, cleaner water, more space, and an overall increase in the boat's apparent size in a seaway.

you have to hold on to it on the rivers mate a tr1 wont be nearly half as response as quickly as you need it to although remote steer is a must IMO. and i wouldnt be without it on my boat.

My guide buddy down in Oregon runs his boat by tiller he says it is the best for the fast shallow rivers. He is not a fan of steering wheels when fishing in his sled....
