Besides the entry of $15 on Sunday be sure to bring $7 for the Launch fee. I don't know if it has been mentioned before but it is $7 to Launch.

In addition, there will be WL.com apparel and goods to buy at the BBQ, so stock up.

ohh that's an important note. I have started to keep 'emergency cash' in the truck just in case I forget to bring cash. This dock does NOT accept credit cards yet like Coulon (doh! welcome to 2009!!) so cash or checks! Neither of which do I normally carry....

Have fun everyone!
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

It was a great time out there. Thanks for the great picnic and all the hardwork putting this together Mike, Dez and Fishinislife! Let me know if you need another hand for next year ... I am in. It was great to actually shake hands and have a moment to talk with everyone I talk to on here. Saw some sweet fish, ate some good food, walked away with some great gear! Looking forward to next year and actually bringing a fish to the derby. And making my second cast in the contest without a backlash ... LOL. Thanks again and the day just showed how much the site and everyone involved to keep it going and growing rocks!!!
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

Thanks Mike, fishnislife, BigbassDez... and everyone else that helped make this an event to look forward to next year! :dj:

Yes indeed, we had a lot of fun. Thanks also to the early birds that came to help set up - AMX and the float tubers, I know I'm going to miss some names here so I'll just say - thanks!

I am still out of town, but I was looking for mention of the derby, and the results. Can anyone tell me who/what won the derby for both bass and trout?

And of course the casting contest.... Gringo...:-" did you punish BBD?

We were still out on the water at 3ish without any trout or bass so we didn't have much need to make it back in time for the weigh-in. we refused to have a 100% skunk day though so we switched over to bobber and night crawler and started catching perch left right and sideways. I can't wait to see pics of the winning fish though. How'd everyone else do?

I am sure Mike will put up the stats today - I am working on cleaning up the pictures I took to post.

I'll let BBD answer that...:-"
