Lake Shannon Skagit County access lawsuit.
Happy Sunday Guys:
Just wanted to make you all aware of a law suit that is pending in Skagit County. There is a family that is suing to close the only access road to Lake Shannon located in Skagit County. This road is called Lake Shannon Road. This lake is an amazing lake that has great Fishing and is used by many people year round. I found this out today while at Wholesale Sports in Burlington Washington. They have a petition there for people to sign in an effort to fight this tragedy. I am not sure if any other stores in the area are doing anything, but if you get a chance stop in there and fill one out. It would be a shame to lose access to a gem like this.
Thanks and Happy fishing!
Attached are copies of the petition to try and stop this. Please print them out and fill them out and send to the skagit county court house. Thanks again for the help

Dont know, They probably live on the road and do not like the traffic.

Hmmm. I'm sure the road was there before THEY were. So, THEY can move. Public domain.

It really is a shame, There are so many Alpine Lakes that access has been cutoff due to logging in the areas. I just hate to see another lake shutdown because of one person or a small group of people.

Figured I'd give this a bump just in case someone missed it. One of my favorites for Kokanee and watching osprey snag fish out of the water.

Is there any updates to this??

I did find this, if someone can make some sense of it.
