When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I'm the guy with Racfish. I should add...that's my very first Largemouth (my avatar fish was more likely a smallie)! I have sooo many people to thank on this site for helping me be a better fisherman...especially on this lake! Many of you know I've been determined to do well from shore on WAWA for a couple years now, and this summer I'm finally starting to get consistent results.
..can't seem to get rid of this permagrin I've had since yesterday.
Quad, Gringo, Nate, Elijah, dresscode, G-man, Islandbass, returnofthefish, bentrod, Mike Carey...(and others, but the list is really long) and of course Racfish all have contributed advice or encouragement that has inspired me to keep on fishing. I'm starting to really feel like I've raised my game, so thanks guys on Walakes.com.

We went out again tonite for a repeat. We were humbled. It was like no fish action. It was much sunnier and alot more boat movement that I attribute to the not so good fishing. We will keep trying. We saw Guitarfisher out there and said hey. He at least caught something. Hehehe ..Till the next day.

It was nice running into you guys! I ended up with several dinks - a combo of LMB, SMB and 1 slab Rock Bass. Nothing of any size, but fun anyway. All on weightless, weedless, 5" Yamamoto grubs. Maybe we'll find the Hawgs next time... tonight...

Rac - yes actually. But not much to report. Fished in the Cut and picked-up one rock bass. Nothing otherwise...
