P.P.F. I bet that got you looking!!!

I stoped by a local Antique store today & found a real Treasure!! Its a near New POPEILS POCKET FISHERMAN!!!
Still in the origional box!!

I had to bring it home for the grand total of $15 bucks, I didnt even try to bring the price down!!
I dont remember what year they first came out but my MOM bought one for my Dad & I. I do remember catching some small trout with it.
Soooo if you happen to see some grey haired old geezer out there using it ...that would be me!!!

Good luck! I owned one of those abominations decades ago and every time I tried to use it, I ended up cussing more than fishing.

You'll have to have a lot of patience in fishing one of these. I'll stick to the high quality gear...I can relate to the cussin and not catchin...lol.

I have one that was a joke gift a couple of years ago. I took it out of the box, laughed and put it back in the box. I never even tried it. (the wife says I cuss to much already)

Panfisher.... Right, thats one reason that I bought it! I dont think that it was ever used, but the box color is faded, with no rips or tears!
I think that I will keep it on the boat for that special buddy!

Hate to break it to you, but they still sell these things in stores... I saw quite a few of them at a Rite-Aid in Sammamish. I can't remember the price, but it was under $20. I almost bought it for my wilderness survival kit but thought against it.
