Float tubing on Lake Samm?
Will be picking up a Fishing Buddy fishfinder next to go w/ the float tube I got a few weeks ago. Planning to do some fishing on Lake Samm by "launching" at Idyllwood Park. Would like to catch some rainbow trout (yes, to take home). Any suggestions on lure or technique? I've seen salmon jumping near Issaquah Creek, but are they anywhere near Redmond side of the lake?

The salmon go from one end to the other. You would have a tough time catching then anywhere but in front of Issy Creek. With a tube you a pretty much limited to casting spinners, flys or dropping bait. I used to let the wind drift me and put a crawler or pb with a slip sinker and just let it bounce the bottom as I drifted along.
