My grandfather is coming to visit in July and he loves Jumbo Perch fishing!
My family and I will be staying at Sunbanks Resort on the North end of Banks lake.
We will be fishing mostly for walleye but I would like to spend at least a day pulling in Jumbos for Grandpa!
Can anyone tell me some good spots on the lake to find jumbo perch? I have the banks lake map(the one with lake washington on the other side) so any lat and long or other points on that map will be very useful.
Any extra advise on fishing the northend of the lake for walleye/perch I would love to hear it.
Also, does anyone know where Snelsons Slough in Skagit County is? State record perch was caught there a longtime ago and I would love to drop a line there, but just can't find it.

RE:Banks Lake Perch
I can't recall the last time I picked up a perch over 11" in Banks, but then again I'm not targeting perch when I fish Banks. I've had good luck with the jumbos on the west side in Sammamish and Lake Washington, so don't overlook your local lakes!
As for fishing the north end. Do a search in the forum for Banks Lake walleye and you'll get plenty of information and a map or two as well.
