Got to the lake around 4 o'clock with the wind blowing a bit. Started trolling with a 1/6th oz White Rooster tail without much luck. Tried near the shore across from the boat launch and hooked into a good sized 'bow, maybe 16", that threw the hook right before I got it in the boat. That was my first and last fish of the day. My mom, who was trolling a black/red 1/16th oz Rooster Tail, had better luck hooking up. However, we had pinched the barb on the single hook she was using, and so she didn't get any fish in the boat either. In the hour that we were there my mom hooked five or six fish, so it was a decent day. We talked to some of the people who where pulling out as we got there and found that that was about how other people else was doing. It sounds like the best time is around noon, too.
