Decided to go to Roses to try some different presentations to fine tune our trolling pattern. I did not get bit on the flies with an 8th or a 4th of an ounce. I did start to get bites when I got 3/4 to 1 ounce in front of a baited wedding ring. What seemed to work best was the Mack's Lures Double Whammy Kokanee Pro wedding ring in red and green with the red hooks baited with Pautzke's Orange Fire Corn. Lot's of eccentric turns were the trigger. I worked speeds of 1.3 all the way up to 2.4 for strikes. I think some our bites came after the presentation bounced the bottom on the inside of the turn. Between rapid pressure changes and an extraordinary amount of pressure on Roses, it was work to limit out today. Tight Lines! Anton
