Hit Roses for a couple of hours this evening with Andy. There are still plenty of fish to be caught, but it takes a little effort now. They must circulate in pods. You'll go through dry spells then wham everything gets lit up. We got 8 that we caught and released in about 2 hours work. We had double that number of bites that didn't get hooked up. Brown muddlers in about size 8 worked best with a small wiggle fin in front. Pulling them off the downriggers 3 to 8 feet deep at about 2mph was what worked tonight.

Anton, do you have much luck on pink colored jigs or flies?

Yes, sometimes. Either Pink or Purple are the contrast colors to the Black, Brown, Grey or Olive natural colors.
