When the wife says she's hungry for trout, you go catch some trout! lol

This was the result of 55 minutes of fishing off our dock on Lake Ki! I got bit or hooked a fish on every cast but one! The big one was just over 19" and weighed 2lbs 4ozs, the total stringer weighed 7lbs 4ozs, which means an average per fish weight of 1.25lbs, not bad.

I was using two yellow Powerbait nuggets on a 2' leader on 8lb test mono....the big fish had about a foot and a half of fishing line hanging out its butt that was attached to a red egg hook that was still in his stomach....the perils of using light line. It also didn't 'hit'...after about 10 minutes of no action I picked my rod up to move my bait a few feet and it felt like it had weeds on hit so I began to reel in, then the weeds began to wiggle so I set the hook and my rod doubled over! That was cast #3...
