2/1/2011 9:28:00 PMsorry to here that,,,, I never have caught many perch on Roses, usually trout, usually big,,,,,,,, lots of sunfish in summer,, a few crappie, bass.. a day on the ice is better than at work!

2/2/2011 10:35:00 PMYou have not only to cover area but look for a lure or bait also. Last time perch was biting on tiny things only and in a specific water column.

2/3/2011 1:26:00 AMI 've been carrying swedish pimples around but seem to get plenty of action most days with just my 3 hook, 6 foot long leader, worm/egg, so haven't used the lure. I hit, I think it's called Dry Lake, just up from Roses for perch, parking is sort of a bugger at Dry, deepest spot is 10ish feet in the middle. I save Roses for trout, last year was awesome for brown trout along the shoreline.
