I got the gang out on Roses today to get some fish to smoke and can. If the Mariners keep playing well, it will make great game watching snacks. Mack's Lures Cha Cha squidders in a rainbow pattern worked best baited with Pautzke's Fire Corn in Yellow. We pounded 18 to 26 foot deep water, fishing 11 to 15 feet down. What a perfectly gorgeous day to share on a nice lake with cooperative fish. The big fish were 18" triploids. A hoot on ultra light gear. There were many non-hook up bites and lots of lost fish. We still limited the 4 of us in about 3.5 hours of fishing.
