I got to take my neighbor and fish smoker extraordinaire, Donn Vey and D&D CFO, Sandra Jones out for rainbow limits on Roses. It's about as good as it gets now. We were fishing bait so we took what came. These are nice cold water fish. A great lunch for us and our elderly neighbor lady who loves fresh fish. Donn will partially smoke these then run them through the canner with a touch of hot sauce. What a great fall football watching snack!

We double anchored and fished slip sinker rigs with Pautzke FireBait in Mallow Balls O' Fire and American Wildfire. The bite was very steady. We had our three person limit in less than an hour and a half. Water temps are in the low 50's.

The Lake Chelan Sportsman's Association and the Volunteer Fire Dept. cooperated in burning the overgrown/ dead blackberries to clean things up for new growth. We should get the access road graded and gravelled soon.
