Today was the day to be on Roses! When I pulled into the WDFW launch area, the lake was like glass. I also saw Darrel and Dads rig in the parking lot and his boat out on the lake. I worked the lake counter clockwise. Lots of hits, lots of catch and release of little planters and Bonus>> 4 16-18" reel screaming bows! I anchored up near some reeds and slaughtered some blue gill and perch.... Most were small, small, small........

4 days in a row? Nice! That'll clear the cobwebs!

3 days...3 lakes..I hit Roses twice.. Yes, it cleared the cobwebs and dried out the moss growing behind my ears here on the WET side. LOL I can hardly wait to get back to the DRY side of the state again soon!

When you were trolling. How much weight did you use to get down?

5/8 oz beaded keel sinker, 20 pulls out early in the day(40'), 25 pulls out later(50'), trolled super slow, setting 1 on electric trolling motor no wind, no motor when the wind was at my back or setting 2 headed into the wind. just enough speed to get some movement to the lure or dodger. Rooster tail, wedding ring..... The 0000 dodger with worm performed well also, no weight. At the most, my gear was 10' down, 30' approx of water was the most productive.
